Kathleen Wanda Grapes Davis, 89, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Friday, March 20, 2015, in Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center.
Mrs. Davis was born in 1925, in Romney, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Flournoy and Mary D. Grapes. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Winchester. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Women’s Club of Romney and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing for her family and friends.
She married Nelson William Davis on May 6, 1944. He preceded her in death in December 2004.
Surviving are her sons, Wayne E. Davis and wife, Marge, Terry L. Davis and wife, Lisa; and grandson, Scott William Davis, all of Stephens City, Virginia.
One son, Jeffery W. Davis, two sisters, Betty Corbin, Dolores Gulick and three brothers, Billy Grapes, Junior Grapes and Waldo Grapes, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 to 5 pm at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Pastor George Fletcher officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney, West Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Gene Burkhart, Earl Foreman, Chuck Puglisi, Larry Shobe, Stan Stouffer and Wayne Yowell.
