Katherine Marie Fadely, 63 of Middletown, VA, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at INOVA Fairfax.

Kathy was born on November 28th, 1960, in Winchester, VA, lovingly raised by the late Leo and Gladys Lease. She retired as a convenience store manager after 30 years, finding great joy in her engagement with the community and mentorship of others.

She is survived by her husband, Robin Lee Fadely whom she married on March 30, 1991, daughters, Christine Yvonne Porter (Adam) of Purcellville, VA, Dawn Marie Heacock (Danny) of Jacksonville, FL, Katelyn Marie Demski (Joe) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Brandon Williamson (Kayla), Codey Williamson, Jackson Porter and Anson Porter; great-grandchildren, Briella Pingley, Kimberlyn Williamson and Mystery Rose Williamson; brother, Robert Clark, Jr., and sisters, Diane Simpson, Lisa Lease, Pamela Graves, Sue Golden, Elizabeth Orndorff, along with numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved golden retriever, Savannah Belle. Kathy is preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Funk and her brother Donnie Lease.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was well known for her huge heart, spunk, and tenacity. Compassionate and quick to make others feel welcome, her love was felt by many. She will be remembered by those who knew her, loved her, and were blessed by her joyful spirit.

A visitation will be held for Kathy on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm with a service to be conducted the following day, Friday, September 20, 2024, at 11am all held at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Reverend C. Steven Melester of Burnt Factory Church, will officiate.
