Katherine Greiner Wilson, 78 of Winchester, VA, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.

Katherine was born in 1946 in Hoboken, NJ, the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Greiner. She received her associate degree from the University of Phoenix. Katherine worked in aviation, she did clerical work and was a nursing assistant as well as doing production work for the Rubbermaid Corporation. She lived and volunteered at Winchester House where she took pride in helping her community. She enjoyed crafting, sewing and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her sons, Philip “Phil” Ford (Mari), Charles Ford (Kristen), William “Bill” Ford (Teresa), Gregory “Greg” Ford (Adrianne), Frederick “Fred” Ford (Nancy) and Cory Ford (Shannon). Katherine is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Katherine is preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine Manriquez and her brother, Helmuth Wrage. She is survived by her brothers, Albert Greiner, James Wrage and Ronald Wrage.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 5:30 pm. There will be visitation one hour prior from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm. A reception will follow the Celebration of Life in the Amherst Chapel Reception Center.
