Aunt Katie was a fun loving person who, in my memory, was a good cook, had an extreme green thumb, was creative with her ceramics and knitting, loved her wine and her books. She was great with children and was always easy going and up for anything. My favorite memories were when she and the family ( my cousins) would come up to CT and visit her sisters and parents ( Oma & Opa) and me and my brothers. We would go crabbing at the beach, have ice cream, play outside with good old fashioned summertime fun. I always remember her poodles. Her dogs were treated like her children. I also remember weekends when I visited when I was in college. It was always relaxing and inviting. Aunt Katie was a person with grit and she was always happy whenever I saw her. RIP Aunt Katie. You will be missed!!!

I got to know Bob and Bobby through our soccer coaching activities in Great Falls and knew Katie more indirectly through those activities. Katie was always a pleasure to be around: always upbeat and positive and with wonderful good humor. I am sure she is leaving a very large hole in the Meeker family and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with the Meeker family and especially with Bob and Bobbie, my soccer buddies.

My deepest condolences to Bob and all of Katie's family on their great loss. She was taken from you much too soon. I'm very grateful to have had Katie as a friend these past three years. We spent many wonderful times together including playing pinochle and mahjong. Her pure pleasure when getting a great hand in pinochle or most of the jokers in mahjong was contagious and made us all a little happier. In time those memories, and so many others, will help a little to ease the pain of losing her. Rest well Katie!
