Katherine Annette Patterson, age 68, of Stephens City, Virginia passed away on February 20, 2019.
Mrs. Patterson was born in 1951, the daughter of the late James and Wilda Heishman. She graduated from James Wood High School and continued her education at Lord Fairfax Community College receiving an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science. Katherine retired as an office manager for a local medical office in Winchester. She attended Grace Lutheran Church in Winchester. Her hobbies included stained glass, reading, traveling, and gardening.
Katherine married Howard Patterson on August 31, 1974 in Winchester, Virginia. He preceded her in death in 1980.
Katherine is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Patterson and husband, Geoff Wilson of Lorton, Virginia; her sister, Debbie Retalic of Iowa; and her brother, James “JB” Heishman of Charlotte, North Carolina.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, 1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, Virginia.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm at Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Winchester.
