Kaleb was a model Cub Scout, one whom I never had even one ounce of trouble with out of the scores of pre-teen kids I worked with. Out of many good memories of him and his family, this one has always stuck with me: When taking him to sell popcorn around the neighborhood with my own sons, he was so immensely proud of having just earned his Whittlin' Chip and being able to carry a pocketknife for the first time. There were some sirens out on the main road and he became wide-eyed, thinking maybe he wasn't supposed to have a pocketknife and they were coming for him. I reassured him those sirens weren't for him because he'd *earned* that right, and he was much relieved, giving that kind smile of his. Heaven may be one star brighter now, but we miss having your light here on earth with us, Kaleb. You are missed, and your family is loved by all the people you touched over the years.

Karen, Don, Noah and to everyone who knew and loved Kaleb, I spent little time around Kaleb, but I remember him fondly. My heart has hurt for you all through his entire journey. He now will guide Noah through the next chapters of life, his personal guardian angel. I know that nothing could prepare you for this moment and from the bottom of my heart, I am so sorry for your loss. love, jenn

Kaleb lit up a room. My first impression meeting him in our 7th grade English class was nothing short of fantastic. His friendly demeanor, silly antics, and kind heart are things I’ll forever remember. My heart aches for you all; we loved him dearly at FCMS and continue to love your family through Noah this year. Thank you for sharing your family with us. ❤️
