Junior A. Ferrebee

Junior Albert Ferrebee, 76, of Clear Brook, VA, died Friday, September 10, 2010 at his residence.

Mr. Ferrebee was born in 1934, in Keyser, WV, the son of the late Frederick Ferrebee and Myrtle May Miller. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and had worked as a truck driver until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of the Moose and VFW Post 2102 in Wardensville, WV.

Mr. Ferrebee married Edith Wolfe on January 16, 1970 in Winchester, VA.

Surviving with his wife is a step-daughter, Wilma Mallow, and husband, Melvin of Moorefield, WV; two grandchildren, Marlo Curran of Moorefield, WV and Melissa Fishback of Winchester, VA; four great grandchildren, Megan Curran of Moorefield, WV, Mollie Fishback, Elizabeth Fishback and Jimmy Fishback, all of Winchester, VA; a sister, Helen Dean of Burlington, WV; an aunt, Helen Condon, of Keyser, WV; a niece, Joyce Davis of Moorefield, WV; and a nephew, Jerry Ferrebee of Rawlings, MD. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ferrebee and Ethel Ferrebee.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield, WV with Pastor Brad Taylor officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 13, 2010 at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
