Joyce Ann Minor Dube, age 70, of Stephens City, Virginia passed away on Monday, April 1st at her home.
Joyce was born in 1948, in Leesburg, Virginia, the daughter of the late Bernard Lloyd and Audrey Louise Minor. She was a graduate of Loudoun County High School. Joyce worked as an insurance agent for Nationwide Insurance and then started her own agency, Madler Insurance based out of Stephens City, Virginia. She also co-owned Treasures to Find in Middletown, Virginia with her daughter, Jennifer. Joyce loved to garden, sew, knit, crochet, read, and was a baseball fan.
Joyce married John Irvey Dube on April 26, 1969 in Falls Church, Virginia.
Surviving with her husband of nearly 50 years are their children, Jennifer Dube of Stephens City, Virginia and John Dube (Courtney) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Madeline Dube and Tyler Dube, both of Pittsburgh; a sister, Kathy Henry of Stephens City, Virginia; and a brother, David Minor of Kernstown, Virginia.
A gathering of friends and family will be on Friday, April 5th, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
A gathering of friends and family will also be on Saturday, April 6th, from 10:00 – 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Entombment will follow the service at Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.
