Joshua Charles “Josh” Inman, 36, of Frederick County, Virginia passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018, in Winchester, Virginia.

Josh was born in 1982 in Dallas, Texas, the son of Diana Schaffer and Jerry Inman, Jr. He graduated from Las Vegas High School, Class of 2001. Josh had a heart of gold. He was a great cook, artist, and a very outgoing fun-loving person. Josh enjoyed playing video games and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Although many miles kept them apart, Josh’s greatest passion were his two children, who he talked about all of the time. Another important person in Josh’s life was his late brother, Jerry, whom he missed immensely.

Surviving with his parents is a daughter, Madison Lynn Inman of Seattle, Washington and a son, Dakota Speights of Plano, Texas; sister, Cady Lynn Schaffer of Winchester, Virginia; and brother, Cameron Schaffer of Frisco, Texas.

Josh was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Inman; stepfather, E.J. Schaffer; and grandparents, Billie Inman and Lois Taylor.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 12 pm to 2 pm on Wednesday, December 12th, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with a celebration of life service at 2 pm with Pastor Brad Hill officiating.
