Rosa Martinez Ferrer de Zapata left a message on July 1, 2019:
My dear cousin Joe (Pepe) was like a big brother to me. 15 years older than me and always looking out for me. He taught me to dance a waltz at a family gathering, making an awkward 11 year old feel confident by telling me I was a partner who danced gracefully, light as a feather. He helped me go up to say my last goodbyes to my Grandmother Conchita at her wake. He noticed me lagging behind in a corner of the room, feeling sad and miserable and not able to go up to the open coffin. He took my hand and said, Rosita, we'll go up and do this together, Joe had empathy and kindness in his soul. Joe will always be connected to the hearts of all who love him. Rest in peace cousin. Hasta la vista, primo.
Rosa Micaela Martinez Ferrer de Zapata and family left a message on June 30, 2019:
Not having Joe in our world leaves a hole in the fabric of our lives, but the beautiful memories of his love and kindnesses will help mend all the pain that his illness and death have caused. Our hearts will forever be connected with him. My deepest sympathy for your loss Elba and cousins. God bless.

Francisco J. Rosado Villamil left a message on June 28, 2019:
My deepest condolences to the family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will always cherish the times when Pepito and Titi Elba visited my grandparent's house. It used to bring so much joy having them around. May God bless you all and give you the strength to overcome this difficult moment. Un cálido abrazo desde Puerto Rico. Love always, Francisco( Paco Pepe).
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
T. Kelly left a message on June 27, 2019:
Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. My heart goes out to the family. Death is something we will never get use to. In fact, God's Word refers to death as an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26). Very soon our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah God, will remove death once and for all and give us the opportunity to see our loved ones again here on the earth.
