Jono - I enjoyed watching you grow from a little lad when your Dad would bring you to work with him at the bus shop to your years as a Sherando Warrior football player through to graduation. Your Dad beamed with pride every time you were around and bragged about you in your absence. He had great cause - you were such a fine young man. You will be missed. May you rest in peace.

Dear Jonathan, Fall is here, your favorite time of year, Football time! You jumped for joy when you found out Tim Tebow was drafted to the Broncos! You would kick that football so far over the tree into the other yard. We are planting a tree for you in honor of all the time you spent in the front yard enjoying us watching you kick. When you were 3 I used to hike the ball to you and you would laugh and laugh, you loved it. We have a big rock garden, that we started before you passed, now the garden is your memorial garden. We have put a big bird in it, a little football and a statue of a Franciscan Monk. The Monk is holding a bird and he has birds all over his vestments, a bird, its blue, on his shoulder, a deer by his side and it says a prayer here it goes, Lord, make me an instrument of your peace, Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy. I know your in the loveing arms, in the light, with our Heavenly Father. Honey I miss you so much my heart is about to burst with tears, there is not a day that I don't long to see you and hear your voice. Rest in peace Jonathan, I love you so much. Love you, Mom

Jono, you were such a great kid. You had such a big heart and a beautiful smile. I'm so glad I got to see you as much as I did while you were growing up. I remember how glad you were that we were moving to Denver, and your first visit, you got to go to a Broncos game. You waited outside in the parking lot for hours to get some players signatures. I hope you can see the Broncos from heaven and see Peyton Manning as the quarterback. I will always keep you in my heart. Love, Auntie Laurel

Jonathan, I read some letters of yours today, so beautiful, you were an awesome man, a responsible man, played alot of frisbee golf with your buddies and kicked the football daily, I miss seeing you walking down towards the house at lunchtime, your golden color hair blowing in the wind, with a big happy smile to see me and share lunch. My dearest son- You were such a gift to your immediate family, friends and extended family! You were such a happy child, preteen, teenager and young adult. You made friends where ever you were! You just plain loved people and they loved you! You loved Denver! Loved the Hispanic culture! Speaking Spanish and wheeling and dealing at your place of business! You had big dreams and aspirations, including having children of your own! You loved the Broncos! We knew you planned to join the "chairforce"! I wonder if anyone remembers your " knock, knock" joke! Yes, it was at your big family reunion and you were all of 4 years! Like your mother, you loved to dance! The Easter Bunny brought you a Bird when you were little, and in Manville NJ, you were little "Birdman" Love you and" Huggy Wuggy Wuggy my son. Until we meet again!

Dear Jono, I feel like I'm getting to know you better, your ability in sports, your enjoyment of Bob Ross's painting tips, your caring attention to others. I knew your smile and gentle spirit, I enjoyed spending time with you at the reunions, and at AQ's funeral, but those were brief moments. I have been praying for you and all the family to be able to come to peace with our loss. I take comfort in the beatitude, "Blessed are those who morn, they shall be comforted". The prayers of All souls Day comforted me, as does the prayer, May the Divine assistance remain in Him, may the soul of the faithfully departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace, Amen. Psalms 23 and 25 are also a comfort. We morn because you are not here, you have gone before us, you are with us in another way. I pray for your parents and brothers, they feel your loss but I hope in time they are blessed with a peace. I saw the stars twinkling, it made me look up, and smile, maybe you were winking at us, from your heavenly stance, exploring your new horizon, enjoying hugs from AQ and Fr Ray, and Jesus. Jono, Practically growing up with you was quite the experience. From playing on the Armel Elementary School play ground, going on adventures through the woods at the lake house and going fishing to playing football on the beach and going skiing, the memories with you are endless. You will forever be in my heart and the hearts of many many others. Your smile is unforgettable and was very contagious. I miss you already Jono, and I hope that you will watch over us all.

Jono, I loved getting to know you more deeply. Having you with us was a very special time for me, and I will treasure it always. I am so glad that I was was able to talk and spend time with you while I had the chance. I would have been missing out on an amazing person. The holidays will not be the same without you. we are all deeply missing you but rest in peace dear friend and cousin. I love you so very much! Meet you again someday. :-)

To the wonderful family of Jono. You raised a son full of life and vigor. As is always the case when someone dies, I wish I had known Jono better but it is something I cannot change or fix. I hope when we all get together stories of Jono will be a part of every gathering. He was part of a huge loving family all of whom are feeling the void of Jono's absence. I am keeping all of you in my prayers as we deal with Jono's premature death. God bless all of you. Be at peace knowing Jono is being held in the arms of his brother Jesus and those of his family who have predeceased him.
