I heard of uncle Johnny's passing and I would love to reconnect with the other side of the family Dad has kept us from for so long. Johnny used to come to my fights with movie camera in hand and I loved it. Nelda and Johnny used to visit us for the holidays and theya lways had a cool gift and it was great! I was able to spend a night fishing with Johnny on the Potomac at Aunt Barbara's house and we stayed up all night fishing. I loved the stories he told and the fish we caught. It was a great time! I was on my way home from spring break in SC when we stopped by in the mid 80's and boy was he surprised. He showed us his one man band set up and even let me play a few songs and that was the last time i saw him. When uncle Kenny died I tried to catch up with him but I coldn't get ahold of him. Johnny Jones was a really cool guy, a great musician, and an awesome uncle. I hope I can be as good an uncle as he was. Thanks for the good times man! I love you.
