On June 29, 2022, John Robert Klucinec (Bob), of Stephenson VA, formerly of Natrona Heights, PA, peacefully passed on to Our Heavenly Father after complications from a long illness. He was 82 years old. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish and Knights of Columbus in Winchester, VA.
Bob is survived by his loving, caring, and faithful wife Josephine (Kisiel) Klucinec and his children Julie (Klucinec) Karls and her husband Jeff Karls (Lodi, WI); John Klucinec and his wife Joan (Fallace) Klucinec (Warner, NH), Dan Klucinec and his wife Andria (Dillard) Klucinec (Front Royal, VA); daughters Jennifer Klucinec and Mary Klucinec (Naples, FL); 21 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father John Stephen Klucinec (1977) and mother Lucille (Maslowski) Klucinec (2002); his sister Joan (Klucinec) Piasecki (2020) and brother-in-law Victor Piasecki (2020) as well as his brother Richard Klucinec (2006), and his grandson John Augustine Karls (1994).
Bob was born on September 14, 1939 in Tarentum, PA. He graduated from HarBrack High School in Natrona Heights in 1957 and went on to enlist in the United States Air Force where he worked on aircraft propellers in Guam.
Bob married Josie in 1963 after meeting at the Catholic Young Adult Group at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Natrona Heights. His work included: Westinghouse Astro Nuclear Laboratories, Graphite Die Mold, Poco Graphite, Materials Technology Corporation and the U.S. Government.
Bob was a devout Catholic, attending Mass and Confession regularly, praying daily Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3 o’clock every day and many other devotional prayers each morning when he woke up around 5 am.
A visitation will be Saturday, July 2 at 1pm with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 2pm, all held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Interment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, family requests Holy Mass be offered for the repose of his soul or donations to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Winchester, VA or donations to the Scholarship Fund at Magdalen College, Warner, NH in memory of John Augustine Karls.
