I first met John many years ago at Southside Church of Christ here in Winchester. I will miss his friendly face when he always stopped to greet me on Sunday morning and chat a little while. I admired him for his helpful attitude, his willingness to serve in the Mission field, and his positive outlook on life. He was a faithful Christian and demonstrated God's love by the way he lived his life. May Pat and his wonderful family find comfort and peace at this time of loss.

Dear Pat: You have lost a loving husband and I have lost a wonderful friend. John was such an inspiration to me. We wonder sometimes why those we love so dearly suffer so greatly while the rest of us go skipping merrily down life's pathway.
