John Joseph “John Boy” Ingman, 41, of Stephenson, Virginia passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Winchester Medical Center.

John was born in 1977 in Oscoda, Michigan, the son of John Ingman and the late Brenda Bridgeman; stepson of Joyce June. He graduated from James Wood High School, Class of 1996 and attended Lord Fairfax Community College. John worked at N.W. Works and helped out at his Family’s hair salon, Pringles. He enjoyed singing and playing the guitar, all genres of music, writing his own music and poetry, and playing PlayStation. John loved being around people, would always offer hugs to everyone and was a comic relief to others.

Surviving with his father and stepmother are sisters, Laura Kline (Guy) and Jaclyn Ingman (Brian Crawford) all of Winchester, Virginia.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday, January 11th, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with a time of sharing at 7:45 pm.

Little John and I worked together for years at the shop. He's was one of those souls that you know God placed here to help others see what kindness ment. My prayers go out to all his family and friends. Fly high my friend tell your mom I said hello and I'll see you guys when I get there.

John my neighbor was the nicest person in the neighborhood. He was nothing but very kind and sweet. He will be greatly missed.

JJ was such a sweet young man. I had the pleasure of working with him at NW Works. He will be missed.
