John E. “Stautz” “Johnny” Stautzenbach, 52, of Winchester, passed away June 7, 2021 at the Winchester Medical Center.
John was born October 10, 1968 in Los Angeles, CA the son of the late Mark S. Stautzenbach and Barbara (Jenkins) Stautzenbach. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and achieved his Bachelor’s Degree from West Virginia University where he is a lifelong member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. John worked as a Business Consultant in Advertising and was a member of the NRA and the Military Officer’s Association. He enjoyed bee keeping, golfing and was a huge WVU Mountaineers fan. He was known as the “Mayor of Babbs Mountain” and he loved spending time with family and friends.
John married Kimberly A. Couls on October 3, 1992 in Martinsburg, WV.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his father in law John Couls.
Along with his wife Kimberly, John is also survived by his daughter Brooke T. Stautzenbach; two sons Zachary E. and Adam J. Stautzenbach; sister Mary Villanova; brother Luke Stautzenbach (Sherry); mother in law Sharon Marpole; stepmother Beverly Stautzenbach; step sisters Barbara Miller and Karen Borch (Eric); sister in laws Stephanie Jackson (Michael) and Leslie Bohrer (Tony); and also survived by his loving nieces, nephews and his two dogs Sophie and Charlie.
All services are private. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for family and friends in the near future.
