Our family has had the pleasure of knowing John for well over 30 years. During that time he has been the example of what you would call a true GENTLEMAN. He was always kind, caring , unassuming and as Charlie says so glad to see you. He truly loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. The last thing I remember him saying (while we visited in the hospital) was him telling Lani and Joe he was anxious to get out so he could sit on the bleachers and support them at their ball games. While he may not be there in body you can bet he will be there in spirit. Lets hope they have a cosco in heaven so he can have his special treat. Our prayers will be with you all in the coming weeks and months. God Bless Charlie Sandy and family
