John Hamilton Strickler, 80, of Stephenson, VA passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at his home.
Mr. Strickler was born in 1939 in Waynesboro, VA, son of the late Ivan Strickler and Louise Wiseman. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served from 1957-1959. Mr. Strickler was formerly the Parts Manager at Apple Valley Hyundai.
He married Joan Baker in Bayse, VA.
Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Amy Strickler Priddy (Jared) of Winchester, VA; sons, Matthew Strickler (Yi-Ru) of Annandale, VA, Samuel Strickler of Winchester, VA, John Michael Strickler (Kelly) of Honolulu, HI, and David Aaron Strickler of Silver Spring, MD; five grandchildren; and sister, Rita Meek (Robert) of Waynesboro, VA.
Mr. Strickler was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Ramsey.
All services for Mr. Strickler will be private.
