John Glynn Barber, 75, of Frederick County, Virginia, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018, at Winchester Medical Center. He is the son of the late Phyllis and Thomas G. Barber. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Higgins Barber.

Surviving with his wife of 54 years is a daughter, Holly Barber Hamilton (Scott) of New Bern, N.C.; son, David Thomas Barber of Richmond, VA., grandchildren, Liam, Greta, and Tobias Hamilton, all of New Bern, N.C., and his brother, Thomas Gilman Barber, Jr. of Andover, New Hampshire.

Mr. Barber was a former member of Warrenton Presbyterian Church and a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 10th at the Chapel at the Village at Orchard Ridge with Chaplain Bill Boldin officiating.
