John C. Lingg
John Charles ”Uncle John” Lingg, 69, of Paw Paw, West Virginia, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010, in his home.
Mr. Lingg was born in 1941, in Washington, D.C., the son of the late John Martin and Mary Madeline Lingg. He started his career at Bear Manufacturing Company later becoming Owner and Operator of Precision Brake and Alignment in Falls Church, Virginia. Mr. Lingg was a member of the American Legion in Paw Paw, West Virginia, and a graduate of St. John’s Academy in Washington D.C.
Surviving is his sister, Anne Spain and her husband, Dennis of Paw Paw; niece, Sandria Spain Fiddler of Bathe County, Virginia; and her children, Megan Anne Fiddler and Hunter Thomas Fiddler of Clarke County, Virginia; and his beloved pets Rebel, Sky, and Lucky.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father (name) officiating.
Pallbearers will be John Gwin, John Flanagan, Gene Flanagan, Scott Whitacre, Benjamin Parks and Pete Peugh.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, from 6:00-8:00 PM, with Recitation of the Rosary at 8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
