John Carson Cave
John Carson Cave, 66, of Cross Junction, Virginia, died Monday, July 8, 2013 in his home.
Mr. Cave was born in 1946, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of the late Carson R. and Helen L. Cave. He attended James Wood High School. Mr. Cave was a Veteran having served in the United States Navy during Vietnam, achieving the rank of SFM3. During his time in the Navy, John served on the USS Intrepid. He was a manager with new and used car dealerships retiring in 2008, from Parson’s Chrysler-Kia, in Winchester.
Surviving is his son, Mark Cave and his wife, Laura, of Winchester; two grandchildren, Taylor and Gavin Cave; sister, Cynthia Cave Christoffel and husband, Thomas, of Front Royal; brothers, William Clayton Cave and wife, Carol, of Winchester, Allen Cave and wife, Linda of Fredericksburg, Larry Lee Cave, Sr. and wife, Sheila, Edward Lane Cave and wife, Jennifer all of Cross Junction, David Michael Cave and wife, Debora, of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, Gary Thomas Cave of Gainesboro; and dedicated, loyal friend, Lois Kenney. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Minnie Lamp.
All services with Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, will be at a later date.
