Jo Ann Tomblin, 77 of Berryville, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Viva Senior Living in Berryville.

Jo Ann was born in 1947 in Winchester, the daughter of the late Earl Lee and Ann Hoover Fout. She was a high school graduate and worked in retail as a store manager. Jo Ann was of the Methodist Faith. She enjoyed working and camping.

She is survived by her husband, James Harris Tomblin whom she married on December 12, 1969; daughter, Michele Wynkoop (Joseph) of Berryville, Christopher Tomblin (Amy) of Winchester; grandchildren, Taylor Wynkoop, Joshua Wynkoop, Blaize Tomblin and Jace Tomblin; brothers, Rodney Fout of Richmond, Jerry Fout of Winchester, and Mark Fout of Stephenson.

In addition to her parents, Jo Ann is preceded in death by her brother, Earl Lee Fout, Jr.

A Celebration of Life Gathering for Family and Friends will be held for Jo Ann on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 1pm to 3pm at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jo Ann to Blue Ridge Care, 333 W. Cork St., Suite 405, Winchester, VA 22601.
