Jimmy Riley
Jimmy Riley, 68, of Frederick County, Virginia died Friday, November 15, 2013 in Winchester, Virginia.
Mr. Riley was born in 1944, in Flint Hill, Virginia, the son of the late Presley Riley and Myrtle O. Riley. He was the owner and operator of Country Boys Auto Sales for 48 years where he pursued his passion in life—cars. Mr. Riley was a well-known Ford enthusiast and restored many cars throughout his career. Early in his career, he built Fords for racing and everyone who knew him recognized his love for fast cars. He could be found at his office every day except Sunday and if you called, you would be greeted with the familiar “Country Boys” and “you got him, go ahead” reply when you asked for Jim. Mr. Riley loved cats and had adopted many, but his favorite was Teddy. He often called Teddy his office manager and loved his company while he worked.
Jimmy Riley never met a stranger and he had many lifelong friends who will miss him terribly. He was adored by his family and spent his last days surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Riley married Bessie Carol Fincham on February 9, 1982 in Front Royal, Virginia. He was a member of Living Waters Christian Fellowship Church.
