JERRY WAYNE SIDES, JR.

                   Jerry Wayne Sides, Jr., 26, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Saturday, January 25, 2014, in Winchester Medical Center.

 

Mr. Sides was born in Winchester, Virginia, in 1987, the son of Jerry Wayne Sides, Sr., and Tina Sides of Dunnellon, Florida.  He was employed in construction. Jerry was known for his outgoing enthusiasm for life.  He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend to many. Jerry had a passion for the great outdoors and going hunting and fishing whenever possible. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Haylie Sides of Winchester, Virginia, a son, Ayden Neff of Winchester, Virginia; a brother, Travis Sides of Dunnellon, Florida; his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Julia Hibbard of Albertsville, Alabama and his paternal grandparent, Walter Sides of Winchester, Virginia.

 

His paternal grandmother, Betty Sides, preceded him in death.

 

Family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00PM prior to the service on Saturday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

 

A Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Pastor Shawn Hibbard officiating.

 

Memorial Contributions in Jerry’s name may be made to Omps Funeral Home, 1600 Amherst Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
