Jerry “Jer Bear” “Toadie” W. Reid, Jr., 40, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Reid was born in 1978 in Alexandria, Virginia, the son of Jerry W. Reid, Sr. and the late Dale M. Reid. He attended Sherando High School in Stephens City, Virginia. Mr. Reid was a Shift Supervisor with Monoflo in Winchester. He enjoyed watching and attending live shows and music concerts, especially music festivals. He played Frisbee golf, collected crystal and loved to cook, once winning the Chili Cook-Off for New Town Tavern in Stephens City, Virginia. Mr. Reid was a free spirit who loved his family and friends.

Surviving with his father is his step-mother, Julie H. Reid; son, Aiden Manuel Reid, of Stephenson, Virginia; sister, Melissa Cruz (Francisco) of Winchester, Virginia; brother, Ronald W. Everhart, Jr. of Berryville, Virginia; and stepbrothers, Nathan Cone of Warren County, Virginia and Logan Cone of Evanston, Illinois.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
