Jennifer Tara Boyer, 44, of Stephens City, Virginia passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018.
Jennifer was born in 1973 in Falls Church, Virginia, the daughter of John and Jeannette Johnson of Middletown, Virginia. She graduated from Loudoun County High School and was a graduate of Shenandoah University where she earned an Associate’s degree in Nursing and completed her licensure as a Registered Nurse. Jennifer was an avid soccer player; playing for WAGS (Washington Area Girls Soccer) and Shenandoah University soccer teams. She loved all creatures great and small, and was compassionate to everyone. Her caring nature guided her life, and she could not refuse to help anyone in need. Because of her love for animals, Jennifer was rarely seen without her dog, Hanna (or Rocket, or Chessie). Jennifer was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Leesburg, Virginia. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend to many. Above all, she loved her sons.
Jennifer married John M. Boyer on October 11, 1997 in Leesburg, Virginia.
Surviving with her parents is her husband of 20 years, John; sons, Brett Allen Boyer and Bryan Landon Boyer, all of Stephens City, Virginia; and brother, Jonathan A. Johnson of Aldie, Virginia; as well as her loving extended family.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 pm on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. A reception and Celebration of Life will follow the service at Omps Reception Center, Amherst Chapel.
Jennifer will be forever remembered and forever missed.
