Jennifer R. Sarle, 83 of Winchester, VA passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 peacefully at her daughter’s home.

Jennifer was born in 1939 in Council Bluffs, IA the daughter of the late John Randolph and Sarah Maxine Korb. She was a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs. Jennifer and her late husband, Charles were co-owners of Deer Meadow Vineyard and Winery. She loved animals, helping others and especially loved her grandchildren.

She married Charles Richard Sarle on January 25, 1958, he preceded her in death on November 9, 2012.

Jennifer is survived by daughters, Lisa S. Turner (Jeffrey) of Winchester, VA, Holly Sarle Ensogna (Paul, III) of Winchester, VA; sons, John W. Sarle of Wardensville, WV, Thomas D. Sarle of Winchester, VA; grandchildren, Bradley, Craig, Jessica, Kayla, Kirsten, Aiden and Luke; and five great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; sister, Judith Phipps; brothers, Joseph and John Randolph; daughter-in-law, Mary French Smith Sarle and step-father, Lonnie Korb.

A visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm with a service the following day, Friday, January 6, 2023 at 10:30am all held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Michael W. Pettry. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia.
