Dear Kim, Catherine, Thomas, Chris, Dulaney, police colleagues and others who loved Jeff, I met Jeff in 1998 when i attend the warren county highschool and Catherine invited me at their house. It was the first American family that truly invited me into their home and lives. Jeff proudly told me about his Dutch legacy and his middle name meaning 'gentlemen'. And that he was. He let me ride the lawnmower. My first ride on an actual motorized vehicle! Haah! Great memory. Your family always gave me a warm feeling. Jeff will obviously be missed by you as a life companian, live saver and a life lover! We wish you all the best this coming period. Kind regards, Náhani and Ben Oosterwijk

David and Marie Riedel and Nicholas left a message on July 28, 2022:
Capt Brown has been a personal friend since our son Nick met with him at RCES (20+ yrs) and they shared interest in N&W Steam Trains and Stuarts Draft. We even have a picture Jeff made of 1218 at Happy Creek rd., and Jeff's dad painting: "Stuarts Draft Morning Train". Since that time, whenever I would see Capt. Brown at either CVS or Martins, we could chat about life for 10 - 15 minutes. Capt. Brown was a wonderful and caring individual, and we will miss him dearly.
