Jasper Allen Berg, 63 of Inwood, WV passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at his home.

Allen was born in 1958 in Winchester, VA to the late Jasper Lee and Shirley Ann (Miller) Berg. He was a graduate of James Wood High School and worked as a truck driver for Falling Waters, Inwood, WV. Allen enjoyed classic cars, auctions, NASCAR and camping. He also volunteered at the Habitat for Humanity Restore.

He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Yowell (Narah) of Charles Town, WV; grandchildren, Gavin, Edwin, and Harlynn Yowell all of Charles Town, WV; sister, Barbara McDonald; nieces and nephews, J.R. McDonald, April McKee, Jessica Corbin and Charity Michaels.

Allen is preceded in death by grandsons, Landon Heath and Brayden Berg; sister, Sharon Clark, nephew, Ronnie Smith and brother in law, Kenneth McDonald.

All services for Allen will be private.

So sad to hear of Allen’s passing. What a kind man he was. He was very involved , before Covid , in helping those with mental illness. He was a great volunteer. I know the death of his grandsons changed him greatly. So many lives were lost that day. I’m glad to have known Allen and to benefit from his great advice. You will be missed
