To Vicki and family, I’m so sorry to hear this sad news. Jim was an awesome person and coach. I have fond memories of the years my girls swim with Jim. So remember coming over to view the stars. Great loving memories to last a life time. Hugs and prayers to you all. Sue and Bob Grabarek

So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. My condolences to Vickie and family. I always remember his hearty laugh on the pool deck at BSR as he joked with the swimmers. He also passed along his knowledge of music and astronomy to many of the kids. What a kind and caring man. May friends and family give you strength in the days ahead and may you have lasting comfort in his memory.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

As the past owner of the Winchester Wild Birds Unlimited, I was always glad to see Jim and Vickie come into the store. Jim would share with me and my employees many astronomical events and happenings occurring during the month. He would share with us his travels across the United States to “Dark Sky” areas and solar eclipse’s. His enthusiasm for astronomy flowed over to my monthly “Nature Happenings” that I emailed to all our customers. One of the things that my wife and I miss about owning a small business is meeting and getting to know people like Jim who made an impression on us and many of our customers who read our monthly emails. Thanks Jim for making our lives a bit more brighter. Now you can actually touch the stars that we are only able to see, here on earth.

Warmest condolences to family and his closest friends. Losing Jim so quickly is still a shock. We enjoyed participating with Jim at club outreach events, sharing his knowledge and love of the night sky with all. He will be sorely missed.
