James John “Jimmy” Albright, Jr., 70 of Port St. John, Florida passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center.
Jimmy was born in 1951 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of the late James J. Albright, Sr. and Edna A. Albright. He was a graduate of Southern High School, Philadelphia, PA. Jimmy retired in 2015 from American College of Physicians as Director of Information Services. He loved speed boating. Jimmy also enjoyed spending long days on the water by fishing and water skiing with his grandchildren. Jimmy was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He would have family dinners on Wednesday nights. He was known for his Christmas Eve dinners at his house with all twelve of his grandchildren. He had an infectious laugh that everyone will greatly miss.
He married Suzanne M. Hewitt in 1976 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Surviving with his wife are daughters, Suzanne Patricia Geary, (Jason) of Bala Cynwyd, PA, Katherine Louise Hill, (Curtis) of Stephens City, VA; sons, John James Albright, (Renee) of Pedricktown, NJ, Daughter –in – Law Dee Albright of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Drew, Dylan, Devon, Savannah, Roman, “Patch” Patrick, “Buggy” Bronwyn, Dante, Parker, Makayla, “Rosie” Josie and Jackson; sisters, Linda Gariffo, (Tom) of Sewell, NJ and Tina Louise Lowther, (Bobby) of Glassboro, NJ; brothers, Joseph Albright (Patrica) of Philadelphia, PA and William Albright (Agnes) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; sister-in-law, Kate McGonigle of Philadelphia, PA and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with his parents he is predeceased by a son, Christopher James Albright; brothers, Tommy Albright and Raymond Albright, Nephew Tom Albright.
All services for Jimmy will be private and are being handled by Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
