I am so sorry for your loss. Met Jim at one of the dealer shows in Canada and gave him a ride to pick up an anniversary present for his wife. He was wonderful to work with as we traded product from to and from our dealerships. We always maintained a friendly working relationship. He was a great man and will truly be missed. His wisdom in the motorcycle business was greatly appreciated.

You will be greatly missed , i am sure. i have known Jim for a long while. Met him when he worked on cycles on Woodstock lane. We had friends in common and i could always count on Jim if i needed something and just for the asking. I watched him build his dream. Seems like yesterday i ran into him at Solenbergers and talked about some of our old acquaintances.

I’m so sad for Jim’s passing. What a guy! In the garage in the Daytona 200 the year he sponsored Larry’s ride, Larry came in from practice complaining about dragging pegs in turns. I asked Jim what he was going to do. Jim, tired of the cost, replied “Hell, I’m going to find a slower rider.” That was Jim.
