James Charles McFalls, age 76, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016, in Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Center, Winchester.
James was born in 1940, in North Carolina, the son of the late Dallas and Bertha McFalls. He was a graduate of Glenwood High School and was a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. James worked as a mechanic at Haymarket Service Center prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Warrenton Moose and enjoyed camping and fishing.
James married Blanch Swisher in Warren County, Virginia. She preceded him in death on September 30, 2012.
Surviving are his son, Charlie Swisher (Brittany Cagle); his grandson, Robert Emerson Swisher and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, James is preceded in death by his son, Bobby Swisher, sisters, Carolyn and Barbara McFalls, and brothers, Bill, Don, Ron, and Eddie McFalls.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, 1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, Virginia 22602.
A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
