Jack and Mary Jane were the most loving and kindest couple I have ever known. Together they made the world a better place for so many. It was always so enjoyable and fun to do things with Jack. It didn't matter whether it was just having breakfast or doing community projects. Everybody enjoyed whatever we were doing if Jack was involved. Lynda and I will be unable to attend the memorial service. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire wonderful family, especially Mary Jane.

Met Jack in 1975 and his kindness and friendship has stayed with me until present day. From our rides to a vegetable market in Maryland in the middle of the night, to going to Ruth's Tea Room and eating a steak, sitting around his dinner table talking politics, chasing cattle on route 50 that got out, working at building the local farm market, discussing how to raise children and actually discussing any subject that may come up, Jack was kind, open minded, a quick wit, unbelievable hard worker, and a good friend. His being in my life touched me and will continue being a bright and positive light for me. My thoughts are with his family and other friends at this time.
