Jack Fishel Robinson, Sr., 88 of Clear Brook, VA, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Winchester Medical Center.

Jack was born on June 22, 1935 in Frederick County, VA, and spent his whole life there, mostly in Clear Brook. He was the son of the late Curtis and Esther Robinson and was 1 of 16 children. He retired in 2005, after 40 plus years from working as a tow motor operator for Abex (Federal Mogel). Jack enjoyed tending his vegetable garden and for many years sold his silver queen corn. He loved spending time on the farm and tinkering with his farm tractor.

Jack had three children, Jack “Buddy” Robinson, Jr. (Jessica), Debra Gioiosa (the late Joe) and Sheila Kelly (Ronald). He then married Sandra Adams from Charlestown in 1985 and he helped raise her daughter, Catherine Stiles (Robert). He had 13 grandchildren as well as numerous great-grandchildren. Jack is also survived by sisters, Betty Shifflett, Mary Jean Welch; brothers, Curtis, Douglas and Tommy Robinson.

He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy, Patrick, Johnny, Donald and Larry Robinson and his sisters, Nancy Oates, Bonnie Robinson, Janie Corbin, Anne Wymer and Ella Lee Cooke.

A visitation will be held for Jack on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 11am with a service to follow at 12pm, held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be in Paynes Chapel Church Cemetery in Bunker Hill, WV.
