Isadore “Izzy” Zaparoni, 63, of Front Royal, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at the Warren Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Zaparoni was born in 1951, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Isadore and Margaret Zaparoni. He was employed as an electrician with B & H Electric, having retired in 2010. Izzy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a devoted friend to many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Izzy will be forever remembered for his passion for long motorcycle rides, especially along skyline drive; as well as his amazing talent for woodworking. He also spent countless hours as a mechanic and perfecting his art of being a perfectionist. The world will be forever changed without his presence.
Mr. Zaparoni married Mary DiBacco-Parsons on June 12, 2012, in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Surviving with his wife is a daughter, Rebecca Ann Zaparoni, and husband, Matt, of Queen Creek, Arizona, two sons, Isadore Michael Zaparoni and Christopher Thomas Zaparoni, both of Front Royal, Virginia; two stepdaughters, Angie Mullins, and husband, Thomas, of Charleston, West Virginia, and Sheri Wiest of Denver, Colorado; a stepson, Rick Weist, and wife, Trisha, of Stephens City, Virginia; six grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; as well as two sisters, Grace Galante and Margaret Anderson.
Mr. Zaparoni was preceded in death by a sister, Rosie Zaparoni and a brother, Raymond Zaparoni.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 20, 2015, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with celebrant Joseph R. Dilleree officiating. A reception of food and fellowship will immediately follow at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
