Hoy Kenneth Shanholtzer, 84, died February 27, 2016, in Winchester, Virginia.
Mr. Shanholtzer was born in 1931, the son of the late Arthur Shanholtzer and Gladys Shanholtzer, in Winchester, Virginia. He was a veteran having served the US Army. He was employed at Crown Cork and Seal as a mechanic.
Mr. Shanholtzer is survived by his three sisters, Edna Rosenberger, of Winchester, Virginia, Carolyn Himelright, of Winchester, Virginia, and Catherine Dorman (Robert, Sr.), of Pensacola, Florida; his brother, Freddie Shanholtz (Nancy), of Stephens City, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Shanholtzer was preceded in death by his two sisters, Vallie DeHaven and Alma Boyd; his five brothers Arnold Shanholtzer, Arthur “Red” Shanholtzer, Jr., Welton “Ben” Shanholtzer, Ellis Shanholtzer, and Roy Shanholtz.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, at Omps South Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM, at Omps South Chapel, with Pastor Clarence Davis, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.
