Howard “Jim” E. Breeden
Howard “Jim” Eugene Breeden, 73, of Whitacre, Virginia, died Monday, December 13, 2010, in Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Breeden was born in 1937, in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of the late Molder and Oda Louise Breeden. Mr. Breeden was a carpenter.
He married Anna Louise Miller on May 14, 1957, in Winchester, Virginia.
Surviving with his wife of 53 years are two daughters, Edith Mason and husband, Ralph, of Bloomery, West Virginia, Esther Ludwick and husband, Larry, of Paw Paw, West Virginia; two sons, Edward Breeden and wife, Jessie, of Stephens City, Virginia and John Breeden of Whitacre, Virginia; twelve grandchildren, Ralph and James Mason, Shawn Breeden, Jason Clint Michael and Daniel Ludwick, Christina and Rodney Twigg, Brandy, Justin and Curtis Breeden; fourteen great grandchildren; and two sisters, Rosalee Jacobs of Martinsburg, West Virginia and Jenny Mae Love of Ohio. Two brothers preceded him in death.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday at Redland Cemetery, Cross Junction, Virginia.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
