What an amazing person. She lived such a full and active life right up to the moment God called her. She always had plans, impeccable taste, and style and wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. She raised and amazing family. Was a devoted wife. Had a well kept home, she could fill a slope bucket for the hogs and you never even knew it. She had a pitch to her voice when you knew not to mess around. But opened her home and heart to many and was a supporter to causes and organizations for years. God gave her a life and she is one person I can say did not waste it, she lived and loved it to its fullest. She will be greatly missed because she was dearly loved. May we all aspire to live that way.

Mrs. Polhamus was a wonderful neighbor for more than 35 years. We looked out for one another and had some great talks by the fishpond. I'll miss her dearly! She was blessed to have wonderful children who took great care of her. I pray for your peace and comfort.

I was so sorry about Helen but glad I was with Cathy at the time it happened. Sending lots of hugs, thoughts and prayers to Cathy, Tracy & Ann as well as extended family members. I've been friends with Cathy since we were two and consider her more of a sister than friend! Her mom (& dad) were like second parents to me. I really thought if anyone was going to make it to 100 it was going to be Helen and she sure gave it a good try! She will certainly be missed.
