Harry S. Fauver, Jr.
Harry Jackson Strite Fauver, Jr, age 73, of Stephenson, Virginia, died Monday, July 30, 2012, at his sons home in Bunker Hill, West Virginia.
Mr. Fauver was born in 1939, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of the late Harry J. S. and Nellie Fauver, Sr. He was a plumber with Miller and Anderson Plumbing and Heating Co., retiring in 1995 after 40 years of service.
His wife, Jeanette Marie Fauver, preceded him in death on January 20, 2005.
Surviving are two daughters, Penny May and husband, Scott, of Flintstone, Georgia and Rhonda Fauver of High Point, North Carolina; a son, Harry “Jack” Fauver, III and wife, Sabrina, of Bunker Hill, West Virginia; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; his sister, Varsela Pitcock of Mt. Williams, Virginia, and two brothers, Herman Fauver and Leo Fauver, both of Winchester, VA.
He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Scott Fauver, three sisters, Marie Anderson, Audrey Fahnestock, and Glenna Arnold, and four brothers, Rodney Fauver, Marco “Shorty” Fauver, Cecil Fauver and Ellsworth Fauver.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 3 at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Reverend Anthony Wadsworth officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Pitcock, Nick Pitcock, Jim Orndorff, Steve Smith, Shawn Smith, and Shawn “Peabody” Gordon.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
