Harry D. Nethers, Jr., 63, of Paw Paw, WV, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at his home.

Dodie was born in 1961 in Winchester, VA, the son of the late Harry Doster Nethers, Sr. and Mabel Leigh (Parrill) Nethers.
Dodie loved living on the river and spending time with his family there, camping, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed NASCAR and the drivers, Dale Earnhardt (Jr. and Sr.), Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lynn whom he married on October 16, 2005; daughter, Rheanna Lynn Shanholtz of Boyce, VA; grandchildren, Caleb Baker of Paw Paw, WV, Jocelynn Shanholtz of Boyce, VA; sister, Deborah Hodgson of Winchester, VA; brother, Thomas Nethers (Patricia) of Winchester, VA; nieces, Lauren Nethers and Ashleigh Barber; nephew, Garrett Hodgson and canine companion, Emma.

Dodie is preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Kevin Shanholtz; grandson, Aiden Nethers and canine companion, Malachi.

A visitation will be held for Dodie on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 6pm to 8pm at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Dodie to Augusta Animal Hospital, 199 Redskins Lane, Augusta, WV 26704.
