Gregory Farmer, 66, passed away on January 18, 2024, in Winchester, VA.

He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Patricia and brother, Chris.

He is survived by his brothers Thomas (Catherine) of Boyce, Tim Farmer (Joanne) of Washington, Todd (Diane) of Richmond, Troy (Barbara) and Brian of Woodbridge.

Greg enjoyed being on or near the water, whether it was working on boats or fishing. He was the owner of a property management business in Kitty Hawk, NC. for many years, and was employed by Chesapeake Cove Marina, in Deltaville, VA.

A Celebration of Life is planned.

Greg it all started back in 1960 when we were just little guys playing up on the cliffs or up at the barns, down at the river fishing how about when we would carry your dads rowboat all the way down and have to stop like a 100 times or all the years we meet up at the park to play sports. Then when we got older the ballgames, at the beach or just hanging out. Lotta good memories. RIP brother Bunk.

Greg was certainly one-of-a-kind, and I was blessed to have met him through his most recent employer. He was a no-nonsense kind of man, which I respect and appreciate. He always had a smile on his face and would remind me to not work so hard and to go enjoy life. I always knew when Greg was working because I would hear him humming along to a song...thank you for the great stories, Greg. You are missed!
