Grace Harlan Earp, 94, of Middletown, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Earp was born in 1925 in Frederick, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Lucy and Bob Harlan. She was a retired office worker with United States Census Bureau. Mrs. Earp was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed gardening, going to the VFW and was a Redskins fan. She was a beautiful person who loved her family, friends and animals.

She married James Leon Earp on June 21, 1975 at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland. He preceded her in death on July 19, 2003. Her first husband, Ell Leon Meler, preceded her in death in 2004.

Surviving is her daughter, Gloria Ann Nelson (Richard) of Annapolis, Maryland; sons, Richard Dean Meler of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and Paul Anthony Meler (Lisa) of Middletown, Virginia; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Earp is preceded in death by all her siblings.

The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A graveside will be conducted at 1 pm on Thursday at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, Maryland.
