Glenn Allen Stultz, 85, of Stephenson, Virginia, died Thursday, March 10, 2016, at his home.
Mr. Stultz was born in 1930, in Virginia, the son of the late Atha and Edward Stultz. He was a graduate of Stephens City High School, Class of 1948. Mr. Stultz was a Veteran having served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, achieving the rank of Corporal. He was a self-employed Master Carpenter, owning and operating E.W. Stultz and Son, retiring in 1992. Mr. Stultz was a member of Round Hill United Methodist Church and a member of the Plane Crazy Club (RC Airplane Club). He enjoyed working in his garden and watching TV while sitting in his favorite recliner. He also enjoyed hunting and was proud of his military service. More than anything, though, he loved his family and his beloved Betty Ann.
He married Betty Ann Owens on May 8, 1949, in Hagerstown, Maryland. She preceded him in death on December 20, 2013, after 64 years of marriage.
Surviving are three daughters, Robin Lovett and husband, LeRoy, of Winchester, Gayle Grove and husband, Jackie Jr., of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, April King and husband, Glenn, of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Brooke Luttrell and husband, Dustin, Christy Lovett, Jacquelyn Grove, LeRoy Lovett, Roger Lovett; and great grandchildren, Kyle Hoover, Patrick Hoover and MaKayla Hoover.
Three brothers, Frank, Paul and Olin Stultz, preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2:00-4:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Monday, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Reverend Pete Wadsworth officiating. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Serving as pallbearers will be LeRoy Lovett, Jackie Grove, Jr., Glenn King, Dustin Luttrell, Jeff Smulovitz and Glen Zachgo.
