Glenda Jean Kelly Rence, 75, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Thursday, October 29, 2009, in her home.

Mrs. Rence was born in 1934, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late William J. and Mildred R. Kelly. She was an RN employed by Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, retiring in 1988, after twenty-seven years of service. Mrs. Rence was also a member of the Eastern Star and a graduate of Washington Jefferson College, Washington, Pennsylvania, where she received her RN Degree.

Her husband, Robert E. Rence, whom she married on November 19, 1955, in Oakdale, Pennsylvania, preceded her in death in 2003.

Surviving is her daughter, Kelly L. Morris and her husband, Joseph, of Winchester, Virginia; son, Robert Glen Rence and his wife, Judith, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Katelyn E. Morris, Breanna N. Morris and Cole P. Morris all of Winchester, Virginia.

A funeral service will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 AM at Thomas Little Funeral Home, Oakdale, Pennsylvania with Reverend Mark Simondes officiating. Interment will be in Robinson Run Cemetery, Oakdale, Pennsylvania.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Thomas Little Funeral Home.
