Glen Eugene Eads, Jr., 63 of Winchester, VA passed away Tuesday, December 7,
2021 at Winchester Medical Center.
Glen was born in 1958 in Pulaski, VA to Kathryn (Coake) Barr and the late Glen
Eugene Eads, Sr. He graduated from Virginia Western Community College with an
Associate’s Degree in Business Management. Glen loved anything sports related,
especially the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns, Washington Capitals, and the
Virginia Tech Hokies. He was also a huge fan of horse racing. He was an extreme
extrovert, and would gladly carry on long conversations with anyone willing to talk.
Glen was an animal lover, and he and his wife always had a houseful of dogs and
cats, who were treated more like children than pets. Although he claimed not to be
a cat person, his constant companion was Alice the tri-pawed feline, who he
adopted in February.
Glen married Sandra Fortin-Eads on August 6, 2000 in Kennebunk, ME.
He is survived by his wife Sandra; son, Brian C. Eads of Salem, VA; mother,
Kathryn Barr of Triangle, VA; and brother, Timothy Eads of Alexandria, VA. He is
also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. In
addition to his father, he was predeceased by his stepfather, Captain Robert K.
Barr.
