Wendy left a message on May 3, 2016:
So many memories of my life include Uncle Gerry (my Godfather). One in particular was taking as many last rides on The Rebel Yell at King's Dominion while Aunti Ann, my mom & dad (Virginia and Charles) were made to consume numerous ice cream cones. The park was closing, so they purchased cones thinking we (Uncle Gerry, Sue, David, and myself) would be right there... little did they know we decided to take full advantage of 'no line' for the roller coaster, and we ran around to re-ride as many times as we could. Some other memories... my dad's stories about carpooling with Gerry (was it in a vw bug?); how the 4 of you (Gerry/Ann, Virginia/Charles) met at the Pentagon; 'we have no bananas today'; decorating Christmas cookies; St. Joseph's Day - German chocolate cake; Chesapeake Bay Restaurant - eating crab even though allergic; Washington Redskin parties; dinner parties; and just hanging out! The list could go on and on...and most of all I will never forget Uncle Gerry's positive, loving soul. Always giving, always time for everyone, and always cheering for others. I love you Uncle Gerry and will miss you always.
