Gerald Douglas “Doug” Dusing, Jr., 46, of Bunker Hill, WV, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
Doug was born in 1977 in Winchester, VA, the son of the late Gerald Douglas Dusing, Sr. and Janie Mae (Foster) Dusing. He was a graduate of Musselman High School, Class of 1995 and also attended the Nashville Diesel Institute, graduating in 1997 with his associate degree. Doug previously worked as a mechanic for Potomac Edison. He attended Inwood Family Worship Center. Doug was known for his help in the community and his kind heart. He never went anywhere without knowing someone. Doug was a family man from the beginning. He was always willing to help anyone he could and was always so dedicated to helping his kids with their fair projects and tractor pulling. Doug enjoyed tractor pulling and was a member of the Winchester Eagles.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, whom he married on March 9, 2007; his two children, Savannah and Austin Dusing of Bunker Hill, WV; sister, Sherri Castleman and his niece, Brittany Castleman both of Inwood, WV; in-laws, Roger and Ann Baker of Winchester, VA; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Doug is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Barbara Jane Dusing.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Doug on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 1p at Inwood Family Worship Center, Inwood, WV.
