The Team at Pleasant Valley Wendy's left a message on June 30, 2017:
Mr. George was a wonderful man. We had the pleasure of knowing him for many, many years. He would stop by our Wendy's on Pleasant Valley Road many afternoons, always around 4pm to have a sandwich and coffee. While a customer, Mr. George became part of our Wendy's family. He was always concerned in how we were doing personally, and knew many of us very well. We were all touched by his kindness and loving personality. While we are so sad to hear of his passing, we know Mr. George is rejoicing in heaven, and we will remember him always. He was such a bright spot in our day and he was loved very much by us. Wishing peace, prayers, and loving memories to his family during this difficult time.

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your dad. I paused and had a lot of terrific memories pour through my head today. I can still see your dad playing cards with my dad and so many others. It was always good to know Aunt Peewee and Uncle George were coming over or that we were going there so we could all play while the cards flew. And then I even learned to play. Keeping all of my cousins in my prayers. Jeff and Beth Anne Smelser
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Much sympathy to all my cousins. I remember all the times playing games and watching home movies with you and Uncle George and Aunt Pee-Wee. I also learned to play "Set-back" at the Greenspring Grocery with Dad, Uncle George, Mitch, and Junior. Love from my family to all of you.
