George Edwin “Eddie” Larrick, 84, of Winchester, VA, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017, at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center.

Mr. Larrick was born in 1933, in Round Hill, Frederick County, VA, the son of the late George G. and Eleanor Shepard Larrick. He attended John Handley High School. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Naval Reserve during the Korean Conflict. He was a Sales Manager for Raub Supply (later Nolan Supply) for 39 years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Winchester, VA. He was also a member of the Winchester Moose Lodge 1283 and AmVets Post 10. He liked to hike up the Appalachian Trail and enjoyed going dancing. In his earlier years, Eddie enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Larrick married his wife, Ruby, on June 20, 1954, in Brucetown, VA.

Along with his wife of 63 years, he is survived by numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends Tuesday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel at 11:00 a.m with Rev. Dr. Dan McCoig officiating. Interment will take place at Mount Hebron.
